The Director General of Veterinary Medicine of Hamadan Province visited the aquatic processing and cutting unit in Nahavand
According to the Public Relations Department of the Veterinary Department of Nahavand County; Dr. Amirhossein Naghipour said on the sidelines of this visit: This complex, as the largest fish and red meat processing and cutting complex in the west of the country with a capacity of one thousand tons, has good potential for exporting aquatic animals.
While visiting different parts of this unit, he stated: One of the important goals of the Provincial Veterinary Department is to provide comprehensive support to producers in the shortest possible time, which requires high supervision over production, distribution, storage, and transportation in accordance with veterinary health rules and regulations.
Dr. Naghipour emphasized: Considering the capacity and potential of this unit in the field of packaging and exporting aquatic animals, it is necessary to take necessary measures to remove obstacles, develop, and equip this unit based on a specific plan and period of time.
The Director General of Veterinary Medicine of Hamadan Province concluded by saying: Nahavand County is one of the most important aquaculture centers in the west of the country. This unit, having received the IR code, which is specific for exports, annually exports 800 tons of hot and frozen fish to Eurasian countries and plays a significant role in creating employment in the county.
